Thetha Tjommies - Teach Xhosa as a Conversational Language (TXCL)
Introducing UBuntu Bridge's new language train the triner campaign: Thetha Tjommies.
One of the struggles with vernac language learning in SA is sufficient, excellent mother tongue teachers. Primarily because there is no TEFL for Xhosa. Well, we have developed it painstakingly over 18 years.
Since 2006, at UBuntu Bridge, we believe language is more than words – it's a bond that brings people together. By promoting the Xhosa language as a relevant, conversational language, we're fostering reconciliation and building a brighter, more inclusive future.
We are addressing employment and bottom up empowerment whilst bridging social and cultural gaps through language learning.
